Still waiting on the new toys attachments to arrive. Pallet forks and weight box, They should be here later this week. Then off to pick up some used wheel weights in the next town over. Figures after I buy a weight box a nice used one shows up on market place for peanuts. :BrianK:

smoke show I'm going to use the weight/ballast box as a reference to what weight I need(I'm guessing 800 lbs going by the chart MF has in the manual). Then slowly buy weights for the 3pt quick attach. Also going to make a stand to hold them. Might finally get to use my mig welder!!

Next attachments are a man basket to trim the tree's. And then a middle buster or sod soiler. Need to get a trench dug to the garage so I can run power to the lights and outlets. Already gotz the wire, Need to buy the cpvc piping and a sub panel. I'll get big enough pipe so I can run a separate circuit for a 40 amp welder(tig).

Going out today to start with the yard clean up. Loads of vines to cut at the roots cause they be killing trees' Looks like the pear tree is toast, we got as much out as we could. But its about dead thanks to the vines. Loads of these vines are in many of the nicer trees/bushes so they gotta go. Also the silly yellow bushes which took over the front corner. Taking out most of them, But leaving a few for a privacy barrier. Just until we figure out which bushes to replace them with as a natural fence. Something easy to maintain tired of trimming the yellow bushes(AKA Forsythia koreana ).

Once the current bill is paid off, I'll order more! :D

I buy on the pay as you go plan with no interest. Only reason I bought the new tractor is zero interest. Lowes was zero interest as well. Next go round I think its 7% on the monthly plan. HD still is zero for the 12 to 24 month plan depending on amount. So HD might get the next pink stuff order once the pellets are paid off?? 4 months to go after today! :D

The P43 started up a couple of minutes ago for the first time since Tuesday morning. Supposed to be warm the next couple of days, with lots of sun. Spring is definitely getting here.

Definitely time to shut er down for me. Stove hasnt run in weeks and no oil monster for the last several days.

Art this point I am using as much oil as I can due to making a bad decision under what I am calling medical duress.

Shame on me for believing what I was told last fall by Fieldings Oil when I pre bought. This was the first time I had to pre buy since 2009 when I started burning. Due to health I wasnt anticipating being able to handle pellets at all due to shoulder surgery and then heart issues.

I spoke to Fieldings informing that I really didnt know how much I would need. Their contract states a $1.25 penalty per gallon of unused oil. They told me that isnt enforced if the balance remains on account. Now hey are telling me that the owners are considering enforcing it this year.

The person I spoke with says "I wish they never told you that". Yeah, me too!

I dont have any issue with the fact that oil is now 1 dollar less than my pre buy-I signed up for that but I do have issue with a penalty for undelivered gallons.

I over bought to make sure I has enough. My bad. I have never before nor will never do business like this again.

    That's sad G!

Heat has been on and off during the warm spots to open the windows and let some fresh air in. Still cold enough at night we need heat. I just got to remember to turn the stat back on!

Contracts are only bound by the sides of the paper they are on. Never believe what is said unless an officer of the company says it, they bind the company. I ain't a lawyer just a former officer. Years Ago.

So doing the spring car work on the Corolla & Rav4 (both are 2015's, 56K & 49K miles respectfully) for inspection. Corolla failed with a O2 sensor code. I found it was a nick in the insulation on one of the wires to the downstream O2 sensor under the car that had a small section of exposed wire and had developed a case of the green crusties. Cut that part out, spliced it back together and all is good. Odd that on the Rav4, with it's higher ground clearance, the downstream O2 sensor wires are tucked up out of the way but on the Corolla, with half the ground clearance of the Rav, the wires just hang there exposed to damage. But they don't now!

Had to do the front brakes on the Rav4, no big deal had bought all the pads & rotors when I did the rears 2 years ago. Driver's side, no problem. Passenger side- one slide pin in the caliper bracket was seized solid. Saw a tear in the boot for that pin and knew it was rusted. No problem, I'll just go buy a new bracket, pins and boots. Nope, your auto parts stores don't carry them. Called 2 Toyota dealers, brackets, pins & boots all on backorder, $256, no ETA. But 2nd dealer says "hey you can get a deal if you buy the whole assembly (caliper with bracket, pins & boots), $195 can have it here tomorrow morning". So I say sure. Still have to get 4 new tires, not sure if I want to spring for the almost $300/ea to replace the Yokohama Geolander G91's that came on it. We only put 3-4K miles a year on the cars now so looking at Cooper Endeavor Plus at $153/ea. Still gonna be over $800 with installation & alignment.

It's 2023, weren't we supposed to be teleporting by now?

Yeah, I am well aware but left my senses for a period. Also realize I signed a contract so it is what it is.

Back to not believing a soul in business mentality.

They are out to screw the fck out of you while they cry poverty doing it especially the oil companies. She actually told me it was a "tough" year(yeah, for the consumers) and they cant go out of business.

I took down the feeders last year as I couldnt reach them after shoulder surgery.

Over the past several years I have had critter issues inside the house. Could hear em in the ceilings at times. Looked for and sealed up as much as i could find but they kept coming back.

Feeders gone and so are the critters. Co-ink-ee-dink? I dont think so.

May stay this way with no bird feeders. Miss the birds but not the tree rats and whatever the hell was getting in the house. At times sounded like they were having a hoedown square dance in the ceilings

From the 40's to the 90's in less than a few days! We are warmer than the south, But luckily not much humidity! Got to luv this New England weather! :loco:

Suks we are already in the red for a fire risk!! No burning brush or burn permits granted! Gotz to wait until we get some rain! So just stacking it up in the corner of the lot right now(hate moving it twice!!). Bigger stuff getting stacked in the wood pile for the fire pit. :MM:
