Things are going in the right direction finally. It's been a lousy winter here for wood collection. No frost and wet. I am currently stocking up for the coming season by buying semi loads from a nearby farm. He's clearing 35 acres and processing the trees. He's giving me a very fair deal on these loads.

Lookin good! How do you like that rugged split? I've been thinking about upgrading when the tired old iron and oak finally quits

It's ok for the price point, but not in the same league as Wolf Ridge or Timberwolf. If you do a search here you'll find a couple good threads on the Rugged Split.
    Thanks, see ya soon!
Thank you, we're constantly working to make it as efficient as possible. It's a new adventure everyday, that's for sure.

We've had a lot of soft ground here this winter, makes it interesting to say the least. No rain showing all next week now. Hope to get out again but it's also getting hot but I'll push through. I'd like to get 2 or 3 more loads before I give up for the summer.

Yeah, it's finally drying up here some too, but almost too late to crank up a big skidding operation. Too close to planting season. I've got a few smaller jobs I can probably knock out, but that's about it. I'm still about 40 cord behind.

Good looking set up AC. How much you think you'll buy from him? Looks like there's plenty of room.

I told him I'd take as much as he makes. He has four more loads ready and about 20 acres to clear yet.

We're finally dried out here. 10 day outlook shows no rain so the mud has completely subsided. Sounds like you'll ne busy for a while. :saw:

I also agree, nice operation. I'd like to process pushing 30 cords here this year, but it will be a tall order to get it done at my pace. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there as we all know it only takes a split-second for life to take a turn for the worse.

30 cord is a tall order! Better than going to a gym though.

    LOL , no.

    That splitter I call " Pussy-foot"

It is still a great splitter , but that model only had one prototype and was discontinued.
