Need rear handle/fuel tank for Stihl 460.
Let me know. Dealer would have to order and the price nearly made me ruin a pair of undies.

Have you checked eBay for used tanks? Normally one on there that is under $100.

I know a lot of people that want the Hutzl company to start manufacturing the 440/460 tanks. They are about a 1/3 the cost of new OEM.

Yep I would look on ebay.

I think Dex was looking for a 460 handle at a point maybe that was someone else??

Yea its too bad holtz do sent make a 460 tank it could be had for $30+ or so. But for a work saw you may want the sturdier OEM? I have a huztl on a stihl and it works flawless for firewood. I have a huztl 372 handle in the cabinet for when I have the time to swap it o to the husky...they look more complicated to swap but not impossible...I have done one before.

I have been watching eBay for a while and haven't seen any come up that are flippy cap. Plenty of 660 handles though.

Its $148 from the dealer, and that's with no black "trim" pieces or fuel cap even.
Mine has been zipped tied together for a while now. It broke near the base and handle.

I have one. Wasn't necessarily looking to sell it, but its in the parts bin and I don't have an immediate need, so I'd be willing to let it go. I'll get some pics and PM them to you.

$138. I said $148 on the other post but I got it mixed up, just checked the paper I wrote it down on. Cheapest I found online is $119 plus $23 shipping.

Ended up getting it at the dealer today. $138 was with the black molding/top part (whatever it's called) and a new gas cap.

The one NTS has didn't work out, I didn't want to pay what he wanted I guess.
