Training boys to be men. Teach them young how to shame the bull and they take on anything later in life without hesitation. Owl
We had one channel on TV while growing up. Reception was very poor; picture was always grainy and snowy. Maybe thats why I take the pics that I do, huh Eric VW ?? Had to turn the TV on and let it warm up before the picture showed up......along with most of the radios. The vertical hold always had to be adjusted. The picture would start flipping; remember that??? Didn't get color TV until 70's.

Man does that revive some memories! I worked as a milkman for exactly 3 weeks as the then “old farts” would meet for breakfast at 02:30 but not start the route for at least an hour and a half. After the route we would go back and load the delivery truck for the next day, done at 15:30 to 16:00. They would all go home, take a long nap then have their evening in front of them. Me, rush home get showered and changed then head 30 minutes to night school classes. Get home around 10 PM. Rinse and Repeat While in High Scool I worked summers for the County highway department. Several summers I was on the oiling crew riding the back of the spray truck. Talk about being a mess at the end of the day The last summer I got put with the road survey crew and thought I’d gone to heaven
