More splitting today. IMG_2921.JPG Felled another tree and made a few more bucks. IMG_2915.JPG Had to keep cutting as the top was getting partly hung up. IMG_2916.JPG IMG_2917.JPG IMG_2918.JPG IMG_2919.JPG IMG_2920.JPG Maybe more splitting tomorrow.

Few more bucks after felling another maple. IMG_2936.JPG IMG_2934.JPG IMG_2935.JPG
Landed on a pile of brush which made bucking easy IMG_2937.JPG IMG_2938.JPG IMG_2939.JPG
Nice ambrosia. typical of red maple. IMG_2941.JPG
At least a couple trees to come down yet. IMG_2942.JPG
Some splitting in order first before the next tree comes down.

Looks like quite a bit there. Any idea how much it'll yield?

Over four cords. The oak alone is one cord.

Last two trees felled today. Partly rotted made for some extra adrenaline when they went over. All bucked up and more splitting. jo191145 you can see where i stopped with the 201 in pic #5 IMG_3028.JPG IMG_3029.JPG IMG_3030.JPG IMG_3031.JPG IMG_3032.JPG IMG_3033.JPG IMG_3034.JPG IMG_3035.JPG IMG_3036.JPG IMG_3037.JPG IMG_3038.JPG IMG_3039.JPG IMG_3040.JPG Moved the oak heartwood and stacked. IMG_3041.JPG Couple hours of splitting and should be done. The sixth tree from the clump leaning too far toward the neighbors for me to take down.

Splitting finished today. Calculated about 4.5 cords based on DBH for the six trees. IMG_3061.JPG IMG_3063.JPG IMG_3064.JPG IMG_3065.JPG To be moved and stacked in back. Building a "shed" for more wood storage. Some going to stacks next door at my main storage.

No help, LOL!!! One round might've got bucked longer or at an angle. Could be the first round closest to the stump. I mightve bumped the stack and a split or two moved?
