Headed out shortly to spent the day @ a local fair a few towns over. Highlight of the day will be the Heavy Horse show complete with the 6 horse-hitch heavy wagon classes. Man, I LOVE those Draft Horses. Some impressive animals.

Think I'll go to the apple orchard today. Might find some nice crisp apples.

Guess I'm gonna see if I can get the brakes to work a bit on the ole MTD mower we got for the cabin. Hilly up there... don't want too many surprises... :hair:

Full blown tornado watch here. In the basement as the weather service put out warnings. Serious cell lined up for our area. Not fun.

...and we are out of it. The cell tracked just SE of us. The words "rotational clouds" and "shear winds" from the weatherman was convincing enough to seek shelter. Time to watch the news and see who got the bad end of it.

That one ran about 10 miles north of us. Looks like Boston proper got hit head on.

New bridge looks good. You guys have a lot of probs too with the spiked tracks tearing up the bridge decks? The Maine trail work guys always mention it.

What a contrast!! I don't think I would have even walked over the old one never mind run a machine over it. New looks way sturdier.

Nice work, now hope some jerk doesn't set fire to it or rip it up for something to do.

Once again, hats off to the volunteers who make it all happen. Well done.
