My order arrived on Thu. I swear that the box of cigars I ordered was cellophane wrapped, but there was also a boveda packet inside of it when I opened the box. I don't think that is something that factories do; at least I have never seen that before. No handwritten notes that I saw.
Yeah I thought the Boveda was a nice touch. I’d be surprised if was a factory thing though. That could get expensive for them pretty fast.
I probably shouldn’t tell you how good those smelled when I sprung em from their wrappers. I think they are going to be pretty gooder smokes.
So, I'm a bit of an idiot sometimes.............I got finished with my noodling firewood and went in to dig through the cigars and I actually found one. That sampler I bought had one in it. Lol I'm smoking it right now. And yes, it is good! Rocky is still batting a thousand. I get Acid Red Cameroon cigarillos and those are awesome too. Cameroons have quite a different flavor, and I like it. Had to touch it up once and it draws a little tougher than the others, but I just recharged my beads, so it probably took on some moisture, but it's doing great now.
I have had a few Cameroon wrappers they are pretty good but it probably all depends on the cigar too.
I had 2 yesterday morning while I had some windshield time. A mild cigar. First one I had was probably around 30 years ago........sometime in the 90's. I liked them because of no after taste/smell the nest morning after a "night out". This is the first one I've had since the 90's. The next smoke was more gooderer. It was a few months since my last one and time to re-visit an established enjoyable smoke (after my poor luck with the oliva 2nds v maduros) Enjoyable until just past the 1/2 way mark and then something went south with the taste. Couldn't identify it and it didn't improve. Snowbank is it's final resting place. I have no room left in my two coolidors. I'm gonna have to back off ordering for awhile. Or buy another cooler!!!!!
