Asparagus is up, eh Chvymn99? Nice! I noticed the first leaves of rhubarb were saying hello, yesterday.

I'd like to go for a walk. Then, run an errand.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 61° this morning, heading to the 80's, I think. Going on a trip today, heading to Charleston, SC. Visiting a couple friends, picking up a Rainbow vacuum cleaner our daughter wants and delivering a load of hickory to the other friends that live just north of Charleston.
All this was supposed to happen over the weekend, if we could have gone to Hilton Head.
Oh well, a road trip with the hunny is always a good thing.

Planning to pour concrete into the holes Sam has been digging under my sister's house.

Morning all. Almost clear skies and just above freezing this morning. Yesterday's sunshine was great until it turned to rain mixed with snow/sleet. I had a church board meeting in the evening and coming home it was clear with a full moon. Definitely April weather. Chvymn99 you have asparagus coming up, I have rhubarb coming up. I have to get out and get some steer manure on it and take out the horsetails.
First day back to work wasn't too bad. I got to hear where everyone went. Our VP took his parent's RV and headed down the Oregon coast as far as Lincoln City. Made me realize it has been 10 years this month since we made a trip down there. Sounds like they had the same weather we had - rather wet at times.

Good afternoon! 50F and cloudy, some thunder is rumbling. Got the splitter out last night and ran a few pieces through but plans changed. In-laws lost a few shingles on the roof so we took the big extension ladder and tools. Then went to their farm to get some leftover shingles. Looks like just 3 or 4 need to be replaced. I'll tackle that after work. Then we'll see what else I can get into. Have a God day!

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 62° in North Charleston this morning. Had a good trip so far, did hit a buzzard on the way over. Flew down in front of the truck for a buffet, couldn't get out of the way. I had started slowing down, hit above the grill, no damage...
Had a good visit with our friends, then drove 30 miles north and met a FB friend...Marcos Costilla....he liked our FHC sticker on the truck. He said he joins FHC thru FB last night. he got the load of hickory and I let him run the Echo XS4910...he had a big grin after that.

He said to make sure we took our valuables in the room we with us,,, so we did......did get a few ...
Headed home in a bit.

Morning all. Dark out there still. Forecast is for rain this morning. campinspecter is headed over to Mom's with a load of firewood he got yesterday. Fortunately he can back right up to the shed he is unloading into. Two days of work down and two to go. Short week this week with Good Friday a holiday.

Good morning! 69F and cloudy, scattered storms forecasted throughout the day. Got the in-laws roof patched up last night. New shingles stick out like a sore thumb. Bible study at church tonight. Also found a new maple score just down the road to scrounge. I'll hit that it if isn't raining. Have a God day!

 

Mornin' all. 29 and a wicked ice storm happening here. Supposed to stay icy into this evening then thunder storms over night. While all of this "mess" is happening we had some "ice thunder and lightning" to boot. Supposed to get .5" of ice build up before it turns to rain tonight.
