Does any one have a "go bag" they use when out cutting in the field (woods)? By that I mean a bag or box with sharpening files, bar oil, fuel, chaps, hardhat, hearing protection, felling wedges, spare bars and chains, etc. that you can grab and put in truck/UTV/tractor and go.
Right now I'm using a cardboard box just curious if anyone has tried a specific container for this.

I have an old gym type bag with tools, bar oil, spare chains, wedges measuring stick, hearing protection etc. Saw, fuel and chaps are carried separately.

Being a Husky guy, I have a Husky box.

My bar oil, fuel, scrench, files, ear muffs, gloves and spare chain(s) go in a milk crate. Chaps are kept in the cab of the truck along with my splitting maul. Sometimes I bring along some wooden wedges if I think I’ll need them, and my hatchet has come in handy for various tasks.

The back seat of my double cab is my storage.
Tool bag, filing bag, wedge bag, 2 hatchets, throw line bag, broken 18” forester pickaroon, jumper cables, tire pump, chokers, straps, block, helmet, gloves, earplugs, eye protection. under back seat compartment has carabiner’s and ammo. Bed compartments have chainsaw tools, screwdrivers, hammer, brushes, depth gauge/bar cleaner, spark plugs, fishing tackle. Every storage compartment has at least one scrench. Only thing not stored in my truck full time is fuel, oil, rope, axe, big shot and saws.

Yep, I use one of these:

I'm able to keep the Plano box that isaaccarlson showed me, (here's his pic), in the bag with usually 4-5 spare chains.

Along with a scrench, tape measure, extra bottle of mix oil, files and a plate to adjust rakers, extra ear plugs, a paint brush to clean off oil/mix caps before adding and probably something I'm missing.

Bar oil and gas go in a milk crate to prevent it from falling over

I used to keep the mingo in the back, but it kept getting triggered by the hoard and painting stuff white.

I don’t go out into the woods to cut because most of my logs are delivered but I keep most of what I need in my pickup as it is

Small ammo can for chains, files, spare ear plugs, scrench, and lumber crayon. Milk crate for mix, bar oil and measuring stick. Throw it the back of my SxS along with chaps.
