Yeah, it's eye surgery that I was originally supposed to have Oct 30th. Everything medical up here runs on waiting lists and they called me this past week to say they had a cancellation on Wednesday here in the local hospital as opposed to traveling 90 miles in October. Was more than happy to take the new date.

Will, those yellow daisies? Rebecca or Jerusalem Artichoke? I have a tall daisy plant in my garden tall, 6 ft, with daisy flowers with yellow eyes. It is invasive. Has roots that spread. The more I pull them out, the more that comes up. Any idea what these might be? I can send a photo. Thanks. Larry

I normally pull them out every spring, but this year I lost the battle and just let them do their thing. They have spread into my phlox so when I give away a clump, they get the daisies with them. Soon they overrun the garden.

You should consider having a beer or two out sometime on that deck in that beautiful setting with Maggie.
