    Hi Guys -

A while back, I was working on the 572, sharpening the chain, generally cleaning it up. I picked up the saw and there was this part sitting on my bench. I have no idea what it is, where is came from (other than from the saw) and how to put it back in. I've run the saw since it fell out, with no ill effect, but I would like to get this back where its supposed to be.

    1. What is it?
    2. Where does it go?
    3. Any tricks needed to get it back in place?

    4.... Profit :)

    Thanks Guys!!

<edit> sorry meant to post in the chainsaw/power equipement forum. If MODS want to move, I'm ok with that....

It’s a tank guard. It goes under the handlebar below the screws on the bottom right. You’ll see a recessed area in the tank where it goes

    AWESOME!! - Thank you SIR!

Seems to me that I had the handle off that day it showed up on my bench, so I guess that would make sense.
