    I agree. Lucky to get that drop and lucky I consider bucking logs a recreational activity! He has a nice little Stihl for trail work but nothing you would call a firewood saw. Here is the view after a few tanks through the 372. 20 inch sugihara with a brand new c83 chain makin it rain. PXL_20230328_185830488.jpg

    I think you're seeing chestnut oak not BL. Looks identical to what I've been cutting for the past 4-5 years.

    I couldnt tell when they were in length if BL or CO. Now that its bucked, i see BL even when zoomed in.
    Rumor has it i know BL pretty well, just a rumor though! :D
