This large (20" diam) limb fell a couple weeks ago and I finally got time to clean it up. My MMWS 201t did a great job with the larger stuff and the Tree Monkey MS361 blew through the rest. Hoping to drop the remaining trunk tomorrow.
Perfect saw combo for that clean up. What saw will do the honors for the felling? Are you missing the 261?
Probably use the new MMWS 395XP for felling. Not missing MS261, I had one of the original Gen1's from when they first came out, had Mastermind do his magic on it, and only sold it within the last year. I just didn't use it that much. Went from top handle straight to 361 whenever I was cutting.
Flopped the main trunk yesterday. I got two nice saw logs, 17' long each and 22" and 20" diam. small end, plus a good bit of firewood. The stump was 44" diam, and there was rot going up about 5' from the base, so that's firewood.
TORQUE. LOT'S OF TORQUE. Very pleased. Yep, they need to come down too. Literally dozens like that in my woods, even though I've been working on getting them cleaned out for over 5 yrs.
