Just like the motorcycle manufacturers that jumped onto the V-twin engine cruiser configuration.

Day in the shop today. Building a custom cherry door for someone. Weird design from them but I'll make it look fine.

Decided to go out to the bar this morning as it’s beautiful outside this AM. I made a heck of a mess in the bar but it was worth it! Breakfast Pizza in the smoker!

How long did you own that jeep? It seems like you got it a couple of years ago.

Not more than a new puppy though. That's the ultimate.

The Compass and patriot are the two non jeeps. The rest have purpose. Gotta say this, that the new grand wagoneer is ugly, and way overpriced.

Every v twin cruiser is a copy of the Indian. Harley Davidson started 2 years after Indian. :)
That reminds me that we'll need to get out of town for this year's mega reunion. If we wanted to, we could air bnb our place and make a couple of months of mortgage payments for renting it out for that 1 week.

Mild day here in south central PA. Let the dog out and he walks over to the big maple with his nose on the ground then sounds the alarm. I go over and see an orgy. Managed to get 3.

I understood some models have little in common with the original builds. I owned a used Cherokee Sport which I drove for years, then gave it to my son and he drove it for years and then gave it to his sister in-law. Finally rusted out. But it always ran.

Had high winds here yesterday, 50-60 MPH, which we have had several times over this "winter", but yesterday seems to have done more damage...we had a number of things moved that usually, or never, move...lost a few shingles, some new, and ripped half of one woodpile cover off...been quite a while since that's happened! Things that often get blown around, or you would expect to anyways, didn't, and things that don't, did...wind is unpredictable.

    I liked the commanders.

Also have a soft spot for Comanches and 2 door Cherokees.

That sucks about the shingles and the wood pile cover.
I guess us dealing with another 8-10" of wet heavy snow is better than dealing with any damage.

I don't know if we've had 10" of snow all winter! It's been a very very weird year...really only had 2-3 days of real cold weather. Set several new high temp records though. Lots of rain

I nearly bought a commander. The original Cherokees, both 2 and 4 doors are good. The Cherokee that exists now, I'm not sold on. The grand Cherokees were good too, but it seems that any of these newer ones are not so good. I've had broncos before, so if I were to go with an open top off road capable rig, it would be a new bronco.

    I agree.

Not putting down the 4 doors, I just really like 2 door suvs for some reason. Bronco, small blazer, big blazer, Cherokee, and I'm a sucker for those rare 2 door rav4s when they made them back in the 90s. Not that I'd get much practical use out those if I actually had one.

Mom's place compared to mine. I didn't even shovel at this point. It won't be long melting.

Not to long. Just under 2 years. It was time for it's 2nd oil change........

Had 14K on it (I think) when I bought it in Sep 19 (I think, again). About 7K miles of smiles more when I sold it for almost what I paid for it. A couple of months later, I could have gotten more than what I paid for it! :headbang:

    C'est la vie,
