Heh, we have a customer that wants a breakdown of where the items come from. They want at least 90% American made. Well it's a little work for me and a spreadsheet or 2, but I think we have well over 90% American made with the line they are looking at. Cases and impellers made in a US foundry, most of my components are US machine shop made. O-rings, some fasteners, and a couple seal components from China are about my only detractors, but when literally some O rings are only made in Italy there's not much to do about it.
Another Made in USA product. Been using it for a long time, first time getting a gallon. Cheaper that way, by a lot.
Yep. Last three vehicles got them ordered the day they came home from the dealer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had a set of the "deep dish" weather tech. Man, those were great! Too much water, ice, snow, salt, winter chit stuff gets dragged into the car every time you get in it!
The ones in my truck have the "reservoir" along the outer edge...works good, but I don't like picking my feet up over it...
Gave the elderly neighbor a ride the other day, he spilled his tea on the floor. I pulled over told him to lift his feet, pulled the mat and poured the spill on the ground. He said of all the bs I spend money on those weather techs are worth it! Lol
I got the floor and cargo liners for my previous Explorer and was delighted that they fit the 2018 Explorer too.
Woobies Shoes: Got the style of the old converse. A touch more substantial. Use them hiking and kicking around. Not cheap / Not pricey. Have 2 pair. Woobies Shoes
Eyeballed one of these last time I was at the saw shop. I am currently using the handy squeeze to measure version. What do you use for measuring? Ratio Rite? Something better? Edit: Soundstream! Wow!
Not sure if you remember but we discussed car audio a bunch when you made your post about it a while back. Truck only has one amp, the D100II(powers a 10" SS SPL sub). JL Audio co-ax F&R and a Sony head unit with "high power" (class D amplification). It's tolerable for now. Car has 3 SS's. An MC500, MC300 and a D100II. + a whole lot more stuff. I measure the Red Armor with a cup my wife brought home from the hospital. It's triangular and allows me to easily prop it upside down for a few days to let it drain in the 6.4oz bottles that I take in the truck. I've kept a few just for this purpose. BUT.. the place I bought the gallon from also sent a measuring cup. I'll have to take a pic later to show it. I haven't bought a Ratio Rite yet.
Quite sadly, I am removed to 'stock' radio now. bleh. I did however hang onto my Sub & Amp. These stupid new integrated radios are no fun for a DIY enthusiast. Have decided that if I can make the vehicle move I want to in the next 6 months that I will invest some money into the next vehicle's stereo. Unsure if this means a controller or a new head unit that is compatible with vehicle functions or what. I really miss my 'bumps'. I can make a wifi hot spot with my truck, but the stereo is inferior to a mid 90s whatever in terms of sound. Priorities all messed up! Edit: There is a measuring cup on amazon by 'Pit Posse' that is basically a ratio rite with the one thing that the ratio rite is missing...a lid. Showing $11.50 as cost.
Ratio Rite has a lid available. And it's made in Ratio Rite Measuring Cup With Lid | Parts & Accessories | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC And you're right w/ todays audio systems. Looks like one of the avenues available is a line converter to connect speaker wires to, to create RCA's for aftermarket amps. I haven't had to worry about that yet.
