25 red and white oak. Deciduous Magnolia and Camellia blooms will be wiped out. Wait and see on the tree’s that already leafed out. Supposed to see 80 later this week.

For many weekends in a row the temps rise just before, then plummet for sat/sun. Looks like it continues.

32/68. Much too cool in house. This is okay outdoors but not in the house.

    0/68.

Yup, 0 ! Guess the forecasters missed that one.

I know what you are talking about building a fire everyday The Wood Wolverine .......Lighting fires daily here has been going on for a week or better already. If the house is at 70 or warmer, I won't put any wood in the furnace at bedtime....it just gets too miserable to try sleeping in those warmer temps! There have been a couple mornings where the inside temp is at 62-63; no matter. Doesn't take long to get back to comfortable temps inside.

I was just thinking if it was in the 60's outside, coffee would be enjoyed on the deck! 2 1/2 more months and we should be close to being there.

32, but it already feels like 50 with the sun. Packed the stove with oak before I left. Fingers crossed that morning wood is done for the season:rofl:

I moved a 55gal drum of splitter scraps near the stove and I'm going through it pretty quick. I have 2 big garbage bags of HL noodles to use when that runs out. It has to be 74-75 for me to not add at bedtime.

Looks like the extended forecast is mid 50's daytime and mid 30's to 40 over night. I'm not complaining one bit! Whatever it takes to keep the skeeters dormant gets my vote.
