    Not technically, I got into a big argument on a wood fired pizza page on FB with some people.....lol.

    It's more of a regional thing, but if you start really digging, you'll see what I mean. Some people get really angry about it.

    That's what I always thought that it was because everywhere I've ever gone and looked at what's in a calzone it says ricotta and other cheeses.

    So who really knows? Just going off of what I've seen listed on menu's.

    Just saw this thread. Scotty that fireplace oven combo really turned out nice and better yet the chef has his act together. Working good, looking good.
    I’ll put my vote in for a Calzone can be anything you want. I always order the special Calzone which is everything on a special pizza plus ricotta.

    God forbid, Let's not start get talking about Panzerotti's then.... :faint: If it's dough, with meat cheese and maybe sauce or (gravy) it could be just about any dam thing. Down here at the shore, you have 408 pizza places in a 12 mile area! :bug::jaw::hair: Each one cooks and calls something different depending of they are Italian or Greek, then if the Sicilians get into it... :rofl: :lol::wacky:

    I asked my wife what she thought about all of us coming over n renting an airbnb again like we did last year...take a few extra days and play tourist in the area...at first it didn't seem too likely, but the other day she mentioned something about maybe we could do that again...I need to see if the same place is available, it worked out pretty well last year.
