I've never gaffed out bad on any pine tree species in my area. Pine can have a lot of BTU's though, Piñon pine is way up there with hard woods.
Yea, lots of BTUs but it just doesn't last. I don't hear much of pinon pine but I'm in Indiana and don't need it
Geeze, I started the video but could not watch. Guy does not know how to hold camera still! Constantly moving. Hard to watch.
I'm pretty sure their cameras are mounted on their helmets. Not sure how else you would film and still have both hands free to climb and work. Once you get used to the perspective it's not bad. I ended up watching the whole thing. At about 9:00 his spurs were slipping out so bad he had to get down and sharpen them. Was kinda cool to hear their comparison of that tree to the trees they usually cut back home. I'm thinking they are originally outta Washington state.
It does not seem to bother some but I can not watch that. Another thing that gets me is when videos or movies shot pictures thar change every second. I can't watch those. Must be my one eye.
