Gracias. I think the recent addition of a Makita 7900 has finally rounded out my 'plan'. lol There are a few bucket saws on my list yet, but I have everything I could possibly need. All the talk of gasoline powered saws going away prompted me to purchase a few over the last couple years. If I can find fuel, I'll be using 2 strokes in 2050 (if I'm still lucky enough to be around).
Well the just dropped off my Christmas present from my wife......a different orange from Stihl... And you know it jad to have some special treatment...
I only unplugged the muffler on my 501 and like it very well. I don't want to have to port 10 saws, so I own not a single one. lol
Everything is for sale at the right price....... Just to rub it in.....these guys are much nicer to run than a 4910.....at least one without sausage..... With all the cedar we cut around here the 241 is by far the best saw for the job......and we've used a whole slew of small saws on this stuff....ms180, ms241, ms250, ms261, cs2512p, cs3510, cs400, cs4910, husky 435 & 440, 242, 246, 346xp, and 353. At the end of the day the 241 pretty much eats everybody else's cake, as an all around saw for sub 16" softwood with a million tiny limbs. P.S. we like em best with a light weight 20" .325 setup, running husky sp33g chain....
