Here's a (very) rough boundary guide to the regional east coast vernacular. The GTG is being held in the demarcation zone between Kwawfee (think Margot Robbie in The Wolf Of Wall Street saying the word "coffee") and Propah (stereotypical "Bahstin" accent) We in the zone fancy ourselves as not having an accent at all ;)

Thanks for the heads up on the Hawg Days post Mike. Hadn’t seen that. Sure already figured on a Portolet, I’ve seen the gaseous jokes on this forum LOL.
We’ll have to figure out food and stuff. Anyone has grills or stuff they want to bring that would be great. I have a small Weber (downsized a few years back). I have an in with a local pizza restaurant. I’ll spring for a round of pizzas, maybe even have it catered. Talked to my favorite waitress last night and she said she’s game :) Not sure I want to torture her that bad. That should take care of one big meal.

Anyone have a grate system for an open fire? That may be awful helpful. Or a griddle for breakfast etc. other food ideas just yell em out. Personally I’m a simple eater. Cook a steak eat a steak type person :)
Used to make a real good chili back in the day.
Cajun chicken wings I know. A pretty mean macaroni and cheese dish. That’s about all I know LOL

appreciate the offers of help. You can bet your sweet bippy I’ll take you up on that.

True Eric. They say Ct is the one spot in the US with no accent. I won’t claim to be well traveled enough to know how true that is.

Address here is 265 White Birch Rd. East Hampton Ct. Anyone looking for accommodations I recommend Glastonbury/ Wethersfield area. Be careful using search engines for such things. The Ct river cuts through near here and many seemingly close results are as the crow flies. Bridges across are a different story. Glastonburys not cheap. You can save $50 or so driving across the bridge into Wethersfield.

edit. There is a place in Portland that may show up. Not recommended. Never been there myself but it’s real hit or miss on the reviews. Basically a dive that someone slapped new paint on. I see mentions of bed bugs in the reviews. I think I’d rather curl up next to a dumpster than that LOL

I also have the Blackstone I could bring for some sausage and pepper subs or maybe steak and cheese?

Please keep me in the loop as things progress.

That’s Ok. I’m with Brad. If this is gonna be more than a play date we’ll want to kick it off into the future a bit. Let most of the cold and wet weather pass. It’s not like there’s any set amount of work that needs to be accomplished like some GTG’ers. We can play at whatever, whenever. If it gets too hot we drink beer :)
I guess I should take the first weekend of June off the calendar. Beyond that May or June may be best.

Those guys are the GTG pros!

I'm sure they'd make suggestions on what, and what not to do.
