    Hallo Folks.
Some of us Connecticut folks are in the thought-tossing stages of planing a get together.

Timing: probably a few weeks out: April or May, cool enough to be comfortable and have an outdoor fire kind of weather. I'd imagine we'd take the better part of a day and into the evening.

Location: we've got members all over CT; a place centrally located for everyone coming along will work well.

Generally we're looking for a rough head-count to establish a suitable location.

I know of back roads to get into CT.

    I'd try to make it.

I’m in. As long as my kids don’t have a sporting event or One I could get out of.

I’m in. Would be nice to meet all the Connecticut contingent and any out of staters that attend.

You guys could probably all start driving around looking for a few dead trees in someone’s yard or ditch and then call all the others for a meet-up. Like coyotes.

They were an arena football team here in the mid 1990's. I went to a few games.

Yep- I’ve never been to a GTG that was largely billed as for in-staters… and gotta last more than a day! This has traditionally happened at places like Backwoods Savage ‘s, DexterDay ‘s, and our other Ohio brother walt ‘s… a multi day GTG builds incredible relationships and let me tell ya’s the amount of wood CSS’d (and maybe cold snacks consumed… eatonpcat  )!
Well, y’all have probably read those threads.

Whatever ya’s do, ya know the chief rule- pics pics pics!!!

Well Seasoned also had a couple of GTG's that were overnighters for those from a distance.

Some stayed at local hotels. Some camped on-site, with their kids. And, some curled up inside.

    I'm out. :smoke:

Just kidding , Poulan green and I am still in.

My place is small , I wish it was bigger as to where members could camp or stay but my double-wide half acre set-up just isn't cut out for it.
