So I ordered a replacement cat in warranty and when the box arrived I opened it to find my new cat but also a wonderful smell coming from inside the box as well. Upon further inspection I found a bag with a bottle of "Stove Scents Serenade" in it. Im sure when they came out with this (Edit: looks like 2012 from what I read) but I can tell you it smells damm good!! (Im not sure this is the correct forum either..... sorry) Anyone else try this?

thats pretty kool, i see they have what looks like a little terra cotta trivet to set on your stove on the link you posted. did the trivet come with the cat as well or just the scent?

Just the scent but I did see the ScentStone which looks cool and each one is handmade.

The ceramic scent stone is porous according to their site. I wonder if the scent oils could saturate the clay and possibly stain the stove top. If not, I'll get one.

This is a good idea. I wonder if essential oils would do the same thing?

I got a bottle from Condar too along with the new cat for last winter. Ignoring all instructions for the scent, we just dripped some into the water bucket on the stove every once in awhile. Man, that tiny bottle lasted all winter and it smelled good. Strong stuff!
