I'd like the blame my saw addiction on y'all but I had it before joining here. I've wound it down considerably in the last year. Going with quality over quantity going forward.
Not me,…. It’s all the clubs fault. I only had 1 saw and was researching the purchase of number 2 when I stumbled across this deranged group of individuals. I think I’m at 12 or 13 now!
You will love that saw. We have one, not ported yet, just an open dual port muffler and Max Flo air filter.
It’s definitely the club’s fault. I had 2 saws when I stumbled upon this group. Up to 14 now, but have slowed down some in the last year. I justified it…in my mind at least…that I quit drinking several years ago so that money needed to be spent on something…why not chainsaws…everybody needs a selection 2-5 cc’s apart, right? Also quit buying guns when I stopped counting somewhere north of 60 several years ago. Just can’t get too interested in shooting anymore with the cost of ammunition.
I was thinking to myself when I wrote that. My first innocent post way back then when I found this group was asking about a “professional “ chain to replace the safety chain that came on my single lonely little used MS250. I've owned somewhere around 70 saws in the last 5 years or so. 28 on hand was the most at one time. Mostly 70's-80's saws with a couple new saws mixed in. Im down to 10 I think.
I am at 12 saws now , recently downsized slightly and have graduated to quality over quantity. Got rid of some of the " Farm/Ranch " saws and went to pro saws. Should be set for a while ; maybe? You never know.
