Thanks for all the well wishes friends :) This morning knee & elbow not so bad, like FarmerJ mentioned above, it's my wrist that's sore this morning. Guess I used it to break my fall. Yes I'll be more careful, just really hard to remember in moment that I can't do like I used to.

It’s common for the scaphoid bone to be fractured when you put your hands out,(natural thing to do) to stop the fall.

I mentioned it to my general practitioner and he pressed on the bone and said, “there?” About cold cocked the guy it hurt so back. That was 9 years ago now.

it’s grown into arthritis now some years later and leading to carpal tunnel.

the best way to diagnose it is get an X-ray now, the. Go back again in 2 weeks and again two weeks later. The fracture line of break won’t be seen often until the second or even third X-ray I learned.

Oh crud, I didn't realize it's now, did you atleast honk and wave like Nitrodave does when he's out this way? When are you headed back east again and can we set a lunch/coffee date? Drive safe, that blowing snow is tricky.

Yep, that's the exact one! I just pushed and felt around pretty hard I don't think it's broken/fractured, not the pain I've had with other fractures/breaks thankfully.

    Oh,
    I’d go get it X-rayed….

15 years down the road is a bad time to have to deal with issues from it.

to dull the pain, I have a steroid injection there every 6 months. The white lines on the wrist bones is arthritis. It’s about doubled in the last 10 years in thickness. That’s how it was explained to me.

Did you stop at Michaels big city diner in Rawlins? They make excellent Mexican food there.

campinspecter really likes your truck. He drove logging truck for a few years. Here is a picture of what he was driving. He had to run water for the braking system on the hills they were hauling on. The truck carried 350 gallons of water which was pressurized to about 12 lbs. Didn't have to worry about brake fade.

    :emb:

I'll try better, promise :salute: For real after the ribs on the merry go round while voting last summer, umm, I need to get a better grip on my physical capabilities, I mean limitations. I sat on the floor for 40 years, crossed my legs out of habit and comfortable for me, even sit Indian style up in my desk stool til this day, but not so much floor time the last decade. Best was a strong arm or counter top/chair etc. to pull myself up on, now, I just get on all 4's and work myself up to standing. Idk, something's gotta change J. I need to try to start walking again when the wind is calm, mosquitos or not, like deet treated clothes and a hat with face net or similar. ?

I shoulda just parked at the Sinclair then. I’ll have to keep it in mind next time.

pebbles keeps me close to the truck. I have troubles with her and separation anxiety. She’s rarely out of my sight since she opened her eyes. Likely caused it myself because of that.

I fully understand. Travelling with pets, especially big dogs makes you alter your plans.

That said, I've yet to have better Chiles rellenos than they make there. Now you got me jonesing for something that's 1100 miles away. Lol

Understand crossing your legs. I had a sup that was always telling me to put my feet on the floor. Once she was gone, up goes the feet. I try not to get on the floor anymore.

There was a family chain of 3 supermarket in NoColo, Hayes Market. The mom, (grandma) made homemade green chili every day and those are the best smothered burriotos I've ever had. And LaPorte pizza used to Kraut burgers on Thursdays. I really miss both.
