    buZZsaw BRAD that is!

So a little irony…I have plenty of wood stacked, much more up back….but ran out of dry splits.

So who do you call? buZZsaw!

Brad rolled up this afternoon with a half cord of nice dry splits. Oh, and a sweet bonus of cedar kindling and a whole bunch of splits of the forum’s of favorite wood that causes the ‘Mania’: Black Locust!

Brad and I spent a good amount of time talking firewood, the forum, random stories and just enjoyed being outside.

Thanks so much Brad! It was great to finally meet you and the wood will get us through the rest of the heating season. Really appreciate you bringing over ready to burn wood from your stash and helping stack it! Mr. Skier76 said we did an “OK” job stacking. LOL!

Also, it was cool to see the smiling tailgate and all the tools of the trade the Legendary FHC member uses to score copious amounts of firewood!

This has already been locked up and is under 24 hour surveillance!

    Way to go BRAD
I am going to have to put you on speed-dial if I keep burning the way I have been.

With all the members we seem to have from Ct a get together might be in order.
Anyone else in on something like that?

Funny you say that! Brad and I discussed that very topic. It would be great to have a CT get together. We do have quite a local crew on the forum here.

That's great you had a nice visit with Brad. I can attest to his generosity and natural willingness to help someone out any way he can, simply because he can. As others have mentioned, I agree a mini GTG for us hoarders here in the northeast sounds great.

Once the FHC GTG horn has been sounded, you might be surprised at just how many members would make an effort to attend.

Ive mentioned a CT GTG on here in the past and the local response was very positive. If i had a good spot for making firewood id host, but the property not being mine is the stopper.

Well I am sort of in the same boat.
My yard is rather small and limited room if there was a bunch of cutting going on.

I don't care about having people over and would be more than willing to do something at my place but just not sure how much wood cutting actually takes place at a typical gathering.
I am open to any and all suggestions on getting the ball rolling.

I have smoker , blackstone , gas grill and always in for a wood fire so do have that for support.

BRAD , you have been to my place ; any thoughts knowing what I have.

I've been to GTG's where cutting logs, was secondary to putting faces to names.

And there is also the saw mill , maybe some members have some logs they would like to make into boards?
