    Sehr interessant…
I can definitely see it being useful for the smaller stuff anyway. If a 12” limb is coming down though, it’s probably still lights out

That's crazy. I was just thinking of something similar the other day, but much beefier and difficult to move/use.

They come up with some very interesting safety gear. You getting one Dave? Pics/video if you do.

I do not think I will be stomping around in the forest falling trees for firewood during the summer with one of those things on.
Too hot and it looks uncomfortable.

You either get hit in the head with a limb or you get that thing hung up in the pucker brush trying to get out of the way and the tree falls on you. Not gonna be good either way

The potential for leaving me crippled instead of dead would disqualify it from my arsenal:rofl:

Some folks should stay out of the woods! I'll not be wearing something like that.

My fathers first cousin was killed when a tree fell and crushed the steel roof of the tractor on top of him. 51 at the time. This was about 25 years ago. Very experienced wood cutter. Him and his brother logged and sold firewood for a living. Very sad. His brother was screaming from a few hundred feet away, but he couldn't hear him.

This device wouldn't prevent stuff like that, but it could be beneficial to some people for smaller branches and such.

If I had to wear that the game would be over. I have a natural aversion to safety extremes. Been there done that with a company in the Mason union. You can only tie up and pen in a man so much before all their energy is being used to fight the restraints and not produce anything.

Glad you looked that price up. I’m feeling 700+ richer today and in these times that’s nothing to sneeze at. :)

If you tossed a round in the air and it landed on your back, would it split? Wearable maul!

Good one! Put a few of them on there, it'd look like the spikes on the back of a dinosaur!
