I’m afraid to look at new M prices. My buddy called me about an M6070 with 1500 hours. They are asking $39,000 :emb: M’s are too big for my wooded lot anyway.
My main use will be log and brush moving. There are some low hour 50hp L’s in the Midwest, but they are still at the price of a brand new 50hp Mahindra. I don’t have a high roller Kubota income.

Mahindra and a Kioti are both known for their heavier weights and impressive loader specs. They aren’t lying, Kubota basic L’s just aren’t that good. Sorry if anyone has one and is offended but it’s true. My Kioti loader is rated at 2761 full height, I think the basic L was around a thousand pounds less.similar story with the 3 point and GPM of flow. The hydraulic limitations are what holds the L’s back. They also aren’t built that heavy. They are Kubotas budget machines. When I was shopping there was no comparable spec Kubotas until I stepped into the high end grand L’s and M’s. Both of which were 8-10k more than my Kioti

Mahindra and Kioti are also known for other thing's..but im not gonna go bashing . If your happy...cool !
I'd rather pay a bit more for reliability.. service..parts..and dealer network that will be there and then some 20 years plus down the road. Means more to me than lift capacity does.
    Everyone has there priorities;)
Getting more for your money can mean different things to different people .

I understand about dealer support. My Kioti dealer has been selling them since the 1980’s. He’s one of the oldest dealers in New England. He also sells Mahindra. I’m not sure what other stuff you meant. Care to explain? Is it first hand knowledge or hearsay? My fathers had a L3710 Kubota for 21 years since it was new. It’s a grand L. It’s been a great machine, still on the original battery. My cousin has a basic L. I’ve been up close in person to it. I have real world experience with both brands. The jobs I do, extra hydraulic power and lift capacity is critical.

    I don't have to explain..
Cuz I see where this is going. People getting all wound up abt stupid tractors or chainsaws. Not worth it.
I'm saying that people need to make fair comparisons if there gonna make one.
I don't believe your gonna make a fair comparison..when comparing anything to Kubota or John Deere. For way more than just machine performance .

Your comment comes across as you think I possibly am talking out of turn. Hard to know someone that you only see typing on a forum.
Rest assured..Plenty of experience is what makes me confident to talk.

What I'm also sure of..is pretty much any tractor is better than doing things by hand !!

Looks like a step up from the BX, no? I think it is still in the sub-compact class.

28K with the premium cab and loader.

Had not used the winch yet this year, decided to go grab a Black Cherry blowdown. Good thing I wasn’t on anyone’s time clock, as I was very inefficient.

At least you got out there. :salute:
We still have too much snow in the woods and it's turned into a micro ice ball bearings consistency, locally called "mealy" or sugar snow. Not great to drive thru, shovel or much else.
I'd say the average was 2' in depth down to bare ground in little south facing micro climates. Then there's tomorrow's TBD storm.

Was “snowballing” pretty bad with the ice chains on yesterday, I’m used to it with spikes on my hiking boots, wasn’t really expecting it to be a problem on the tractor.

Yes Dave, these conditions make it a hard time to be a snow lover!
It's still pretty to look at.
Soon it'll be muddy boots, dogs, tractors, vehicles and the floor in the house

The closest dealer to me is 4 miles away and it’s a Massey dealer. Probably what I’d get just for convenience. Anything else is 20+ miles.
