    I was just doing a little comparison shopping 47-52hp tractors. Between Yanmar, Mahindra and Kubota L series. The loader lift capacities are Mahindra 3,090, Yanmar 2500, Kubota 1700. I don’t have to mention which one is by far the most expensive.

    I'm sure it's the orange one !
    Not to mention having better dealer support...very long-term factory parts support....way better resale value . Also..orange ones typically have better 3 point lift capacities.

    Some companies are full of bologna on there spec sheets. I bet the gap isn't that huge in the real world. At least I hope not lol ;)

    I’ll double check. Yanmar clearly lists 2500.
    I’d prefer to have a Kubota, but I quit the build when it reached 55,000, before I finished adding options. That reeks of Deere disease.
    Mahindra loader is rated for 2700, 3pt is 3090#. Kubota loader is rated for 1784lbs.

    The number on the kubota loader arms is indeed in KG. I think the multiplier to convert to lbs is 2.2 ish.

    Yes, but Had no idea that tractors were available to rent from them. I've never seen them anywhere near a HD.

    The only things in the parking lot are storage sheds and utility trailers.

    What we are trying to say....is the other manufacturers are known for inflating ..dishonestly ...there numbers. Either flat out lying..or taking there numbers from a different pivot point.
    Or...maybe the tractors themselves are not in the same class .
    Kubota didn't become what it is by building wimpy tractors. There's an explanation somewhere ..with a huge gap like that

    Height and position (pivot pin, bucket center) of where the measurement is taken can skew the numbers a lot.
