    Made these today with the 346
    Fire killed pine ( ponderosa I think) on the left
    And fire damaged elm on the right. Both were pretty much fresh killed so plenty wet yet

    I might try splitting the elm in the dead of winter when it’s frozen, just to see how it goes, but most likely it will still in the rounds until about this time next year

    Thanks. Wrestling that big girl was tough. Lots of noodling and was having issues with the 288 at the time. It was running like it had an air leak.

    With some recent splitting and all the rain that area has a pleasant aroma. I cut 2.5 cords of it over eight days last month.

    Maybe the swag shoppe can sell tree scented air freshener? Chestnut oak and sassafras for me please.
