On a federal holiday too, huh? Well, I guess by rights, holiday pay isn't a given. OT is for anything over 40 hours a week as I remember.

If there is a payed holiday or payed sick day you could work 100 hours they won’t pay overtime. That’s fine I make sure to adjust my schedule accordingly. The company is good to work for overall I’m not complaining.

It's been awhile since I had to think about that. Yeah, sounds right.....anything over 40 hours worked will get you OT.

One place I worked at paid OT for anything over 8 hours daily; included holiday pay to be accrued for OT pay. We were bought out by a fortune 500 company and that changed immediately!

I have a mountain of sod (probably 25 yards worth) we scraped up for the barn that I'm trying to get rid of. Getting all the low spots in yard filled up...grass growing season is only a few weeks away so I need to get that done ASAP. I spread some out yesterday so it could dry out...I'll go over it with the 3PT tiller tonight to break it all up, then even it all out with a box blade. Scratch it up with the tiller again in a few weeks and seed it and drag it.

    They/ them,/ she / he/ it /her/ him.

Minivan, SUV, "truck" whatever. Honestly it makes sense. They are not the only ones to do this, they all do really. The more vehicles off of one chassis, the better.

I've seen a few, just not tried to get in one. I'm sure I would fit fine. Being a unibody out should have more room than a body on frame. Truth be told, I would love a fwd hybrid one for my next cross country drive. Wife and I rented a Toyota Prius when we got married in California in 2011. We put like 1600 miles on that Prius. Tons of room in that thing. People said I would never fit comfortably in one. Lol.

I worked for straight time yesterday. Oh wait, it wasn't a paid holiday for me anyway :)

That is one of the days they replaced with personal holiday time. I just gotta remember (and take the time) to use it so I don't lose it at the end of the year. .

    1, 2, 3 get loose now.

Ummm. Yeah. Have you told her that computers didn't exist in homes until the 80's and not really widespread until the 90's?

I requested PTO for “spring fever” on Thursday. Come heck or high water I’ll be running a saw that day.
