It's all done......I wanna run it with the stock carb, then the modded carb. We been working on the tractor.....
I figured Brad Snelling would be around today.......he told me he planned to stop in to check on pellet reviews. Getting closer to burn season everyday.
Whats wrong with the tractor, more importantly what type of tractor are we talking about? #theonlythingilikemorethanchainsawsaretractors
Brad is a good guy. When I learned last year he burned pellets? It threw me for a loop. I love burning season.. I like Summer.. But I love Winter!! My 3 year old daughter loves fire more than anyone I know. Everyday (during season) she wants to help me carry wood, get me my gloves, smell wood pellets (I burn both Wood and Pellets). She is definitely her Father's Daughter God I love that little girl.. Sorry.. Off topic I hope he likes it.. We like to think we have the "Best" group on the Net
It is a late '60s Massey Ferguson 135 Deluxe, with a Perkins 34hp diesel. I just got it a few months ago, and sadly it was never maintained very well. It has about 1600 hours on it, so it is well worth saving. We just installed new drag link ends, and are in the process of repairing the power steering. It had a bad seal in the steering gear, and the pump was leaking badly. In the works are a new set of ribbed steering tires, and a new seat. Luckily, it runs and starts like a new one.
Sweet! Rich (Poleman) and I can't wait to hear the verdict on the modified carb. I hope you're making videos... I got a 288 today from Neal Murphy... That should keep me busy until my Dolmar shows up.
The 2 series Husqvarna saws are all pretty special to me. Tougher than the newer saws, and a better torque range.
Wow, thats low hours. As Im sure you know, those tractors have a very strong following, especially with the Perkins. Well worth fixing up. Does it have a loader?
No sir.......no loader. The front end is considered a bit weak for loader use. The neighbor has a Ford 4600 with a loader......and we keep it maintained well for them. If I need a loader, that is covered.
I'm still disappointed that Jon ran that saw in the video and you know why Jon made the 3120 look like me holding onto a 346
My dad had a Continental gas powered MF135 with a loader. The front end held up just fine. It ran out of rear ballast well before it ran out of lift capacity though, so if properly set up (loaded tires, etc) I can see how the front end may be the weak link though.
Can you elaborate ?? Are the 3 heights the main transfer opening, main transfer closing, and finger port closing ?
