Thank you! Got it from my neighbor. He's mentioned that tree type many times and I always forget it's name.

Cleaning up some storm damage. Mostly ash and part of an old dead oak.

Very nice. You are putting in some hard work. Hope the ash isn't to far gone.

Love your set-up Annie. Keep up the good work. Let my wood supply pretty much run out by the end of the season. Got a good position to be in.

I love my trailer. After getting over the sticker shock I'd say its one of the best purchases I've made. Being able to dump a full load of wood that probably weighs 7 times more than me is a satisfying feeling.

Looks great. How long has the outside racks been split? Thinking might need to let the sides breathe, especially on nice days.

I just split them this winter. They were 3' logs as you see in the one picture. If the concern is that they won't be seasoned by next winter I just checked the moisture readings and they were between 12 &16. The newly split ash from this weekend was 20+.

I did an experiment a few weeks ago. Brought a piece inside that was 19+%. 24 hours later sitting in my house it was down to 14+

That’s why I bring my wood into a small rack next to the stove to sit for the last 20+ hours. It goes from the outside woodshed to a rack in my garage that holds about two hand truck/wood carts just so I don’t have to trudge through cold/wet/snowy/damp weather to get it. Then from the garage to the inside rack next to the stove for one final drying and convenience. I know that’s a lot of moving wood around but that’s what I do.
