You'd be amazed what I haul in that van. I snagged a heavy duty pallet and 4 plastic crates on my way to work. I would have gotten more but I would have been late.
It sounds like you might be ready for the new Toyota Sienna minivan: the “Woodland”! They raised the suspension by a whopping .6 inches! I’ve always heard they’re like Goldwings…once you’ve ridden one you’ll never go back. It’s not like our current SUV is anything more than a station wagon on stilts.
I don't actually have the van by choice. I inherited it from my mother. It was paid off and makes a good "extra" vehicle. We took the seats out to take the dog to the vet and found it it actually can haul a lot. So we kept it.
Pickings have been slim, but I've managed a few scores this winter. It really helps that we've been in a snow drought. Dec. 30th, dry elm that I split & burned right out of the dump: An oak limb I cut and hauled home on Sunday. My friend scouts her wooded neighborhood for scores for me. The homeowner was glad to have it gone. I'm looking forward to spring cleanup!

I've been known to do that from time to time. Mostly maple these days. (I don't have any good maple jokes.)
