Ground froze up enough this morning to get this out of a friends yard. Took it to a family in need. Hickory and some pine on top. They have a OWB.

 

Load of three year old hickory (mostly buried) and red oak i delivered today.

 

Nice couple loads of wood buZZsaw BRAD and Ward Hoarder and good for you to help those in need.

Load of dead ash splits. Listed it on CL and sold within 15 minutes ironically to a regular customer of mine.

 

Did you get a better price from them

 

? Same guy that buys my BL nuggets. The half cord price for him was the same for a new customer.

Nope! It was reserved for another regular who i called and she wont need any more wood this season so i needed for it to go away.

 

Have to add these to my favorite FHC thread. 2 loads today.

Got a little Persimmon this morning

 

Never have seen it and dont think it grows around here. How is it to split? Please post pics when you process it. Any aroma?

 

Ok, this one has been dead a while, so it should split easily. Live Persimmon has a sticky sap, similar to the the fruit pulp. I don’t recall a smell from the last time I split some.
