    Morning All. Pouring rain this morning which will continue for most of the day and the weekend. Yesterday was really windy. The weather systems of rain are stacking up out in the Pacific. It may be Monday before they slack off. Ah, February on Vancouver Island.
    Recovered another chair seat last night, this time with 2" foam. We will see how people like this. It is either recover all the chairs in the church or buy new ones. Seems a shame to buy new when all we need to do is add new foam to the seats of what we have.

    Good morning! 35F and cloudy. Wind dies down so we're back to a typical winter day. I snagged a few more pallets between rain showers yesterday. I'll most likely break them down and make some projects out of the wood. Stumbled onto more plastic crates before work today. I should have enough to last for a bit. I need to drop off cardboard for recycling. Splitting and cleaning out the van are on the agenda for tonight. Have a God day!

    Morning All. Woke up to a colder morning and no rain yet. Not freezing but just above it. Fresh snow on the hills behind our town. The ski slope down island farther will be happy.

    I read the Old Guys with Chainsaws and it reminded me of this Bible verse

    Is it not to share your food with the hungry
    and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
    when you see the naked, to clothe them,
    and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Isaiah 58:7

    As well, Jesus said “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matt 25:40

    Service for God and sharing his blessings with others is a form of worship of our Creator, Saviour and Redeemer.

    Not going to be real easy… but some good fire wood to be had. The toughest issues, are horny HL and the mud fest (after Thursday unexpected high moisture content snow) …. That’ll probably be my last trailer loaded. I’ll probably just work off truck loads so I can try to dethorn the HL out there… Those things are nasty…
