Weird weather here today. 60 right now, but dropping all day. Supposed to be 42 by 4PM. High wind warning with gusts up to 60.

Got the boiler loaded with more oak and hickory. The pile on the north side of the boiler is almost gone. Will have to move to the other side in a week or 2....more oak and hickory in that pile.

35f at the moment. Ended up with a lot of small 2-4" limb wood so starting to burn some of that for short fires. Screenshot_20230209_072212_WeatherBug.jpg

    :D

Where was (is) the family farm you grew up on? I know you spoken of it a number of times but if you have ever mentioned where it is, I missed that.

36/72 Supposed to get up to almost 50 today and rain all day. Nasty, muddy, and wet, so no tree/firewood work for me today. Try and catch up on some stuff around the house, go get the taxes done, and run some errands. Threw an assortment of smaller stuff in the furnace this morning to keep the gas furnace dormant.
