    Makes sense for sure.
I am not a fan of bumper stickers and alike ; I probably inherited that from Dad ; he hated them. I still remember when he bought a new truck years ago and the dealer put a sticker on the back with their name , he was pizzed and would not leave until they removed it since he told them specifically " No Stickers "
The only sticker I have is the one I must have for parking at my job , it is as far out of site on my rear window way down in the corner so you have to really look for it.

The only stickers that go on our cars are on the license plate. We also burn the boxes of anything valuable we buy vs setting next to the garbage out front. No sense advertising the new TV ect.

Our boxes are broken down and transported to the recycling center by me.
I keep garage doors closed for the most part so as not to advertise whether we are home or not.

We don't leave ours open either and I omitted all garage windows during the build so no looking in or easier break in point.

I would argue that the "hunting" sticker means we have guns, better stay the hell away from us.

That sticker could work either way. It might prevent someone from confronting you in your car, outside, or in your house. But if they happen to figure out you are away from home for a significant period of time they would figure out where to acquire guns, assuming they know or figure out where you live.

Your father shared the same idea as me. None of my vehicles left the dealership with the dealers name on a sticker or license plate holder. Likewise, all 4x4 or Off-Road nonsense had to be gone. I don't even allow those stupid oil change stickers.:salute:

    This is me as well.
Garage door rarely open weather home or not. I don't need to advertise anything that is inside to the passer by.

Speaking of advertising NO lawn signs for me either. If some wants to pay me to advertise for them then we could talk ; otherwise it's not happening!

I think that logic could apply to anything. I mean how many people have homes with nothing of value in them. I've also heard the cheapest security system are NRA membership stickers on your front and back door.

LL Bean is big on embroidering products. A backpack was given to my son with his name on it. I told my wife I did not want him to bring it to school or use it out in public. She was “miffed”. I’d rather not a stranger know my child’s name. He knows what’s up but someone walking up to him and “knowing” his name might drop his guard.

No stickers on my rig other than the registration tag. They have to find out in the heat of the moment how crazy I am...no spoilers! :D

Back in the 90's, deputies came to the elementary school. They wanted to fingerprint all the kids and give them a coupon for a free ice cream cone!

What an intrusion of personal freedoms. :picard:

Smart phones are another huge intrusion of personal information. Yet, we keep using them day after day, week after week, year after year....

Something like 80 million in the US have TikTok on them. Not just spying...commie spying.

I finally told my nephew to stop sending me TikTok links because they go straight to the trash anyway.

Anything you put out to the world will, without a doubt arouse negative attention.
It doesn't matter how innocuous it is.
Just try as much as you can to be neutral in appearance.
Being slightly unstable looking also has it's advantages.

I have one Stihl sticker on a side window of my truck. I'm guessing only a small number of people know what that is.

I've only placed FHC and a Harley sticker on my vehicles. Anyone looking for free firewood would be disappointed :D

Harley stickers are everywhere and even those that don't own a bike will put them on. Now that I no longer have a bike and got a new to me vehicle, I no longer have even that.

My garage stays closed, don't want anyone seeing those pallets of pellet I have stashed away. However, my vehicle is too big to fit in the garage, so it's easy to tell when I'm home or when I'm not. But I live in a small town and am not worried about it. Not too much valuable in my house besides the brand new combi-boiler, stacks of pellets and the solar panels on the roof. Anyone who walks into my living room while I'm gone and sees all the furniture that I got off the side of the road, or off CL, is going to immediately know there's no reason to be here. Anyone who walks into my LR uninvited while I'm home, may not walk out.
