Hopefully it doesn’t mean rotting sun baked carcass… I am not sure that would be a very pleasant scent on a cigar. o_O

I have bought from the site before, I had no issues.

These Bolivar Royal Coronas have a strange flavor ( at least to me ) that I can’t quite place but I like, they burn evenly & slowly.

Jim, this was some years back already but, I was reading or listening to a review for a cigar (that I can't remember which brand) maybe on Cigar obsession.

The guy said it has a barnyard aroma to it. Now, about the only barnyard aroma I can come up with is manure. But then I am not exposed to it, as you would be, on a daily basis.

Anyhoo, would that be a good thing or a bad thing to post in a review? :rofl:

I'm with you on this one. The first acid I tried was good (kuba kuba normal wrapper) but only good for about 1/3 of the cigar. I did buy a couple more and of the maduro variety but didn't like them at all.

It took me years to try the red eye as someone had suggested them to me; sorry I waited so long

Bryan Glynn on CO says barnyard aroma in several reviews. He usually says if it has that aroma it’s a pretty good cigar in his opinion.

I have gotten a whiff of barnyard aroma on a couple cigars, nothing major like scooping out the chicken coop & scooping saturated hog bedding but just a faint hint of decaying material/compost.

Yeah, those Tabak's are frickin amazing! Even the Dulce. I bought, but haven't had one yet of the Tabak Cafe whatever. I have yet to buy, or try the Negra.

Tabaks, Legends and the Acid cigarillos are all awesome. I actually like the Blue Blondies and the Blue Kuba Kubas too. It's almost like the 20th Anniversary was a halfway cigar, or they screwed them up. It didn't seem infused as much as other Acid cigars I've had and it hit harsh.

When I gave up on it, I literally held my torch on it for 10 seconds or so and it still wouldn't light and if I tried to draw while lighting, it was as if I was just sucking the flame, it was that harsh.

The Double Maduro NUB was very tasty & burned well.

I had it while burning some road ditches.

Took a shorter drive this morning and had a oliva melanio maduro.

I made it not quite 1/2 way through it. I'm thinking they are a bit too strong for me.

I had a Cargo this afternoon while moving some wood to the house & cleaning debris from the yard.

There was a cigar thread started over on the OPE Forum & a member there told me to send him my address & he would send me some cigars. I told him that would be great as long as I could reciprocate & send him some. I got his care package in the mail yesterday & was floored when I opened up the package, there is some interesting cigars in here. I am really looking forward to trying these.

Here is a pic & list of them L-R

A lot of those brands are familiar names, I got in a message, from I'm guessing the same fella.

Definitely a good selection and some nice cigars in there.

I got my new Xikar butane and went ahead and ordered another lighter while I was at it. I got a Xikar Allume triple flame table top lighter and this thing is frickin huge. Way bigger than I was thinking it was going to be. It's definitely table top bound. My hands are XXL for reference.

I carry mine almost everyday in the side pocket of my britches. It fits perfectly in the pocket.
