Tree service delivery and today's scrounge

    A load of ash delivered from a tree service. Alot of it looks punky but I'm going to cut split and burn it this year so I don't care about the punky. I had 6 cord put up for this winter but it looks like it wasn't enough. So this punky ash will get me through. And a picture of a trailer load of ash asplundh cut that was 10 minutes from my house.been sitting a while but it's all solid wood. 20230204_135203.jpg 20230204_135357.jpg

    Free and delivered. I'll take that any day!! Tree services around here just chip it up or they drop it a company for mulch. :(

    The mulch companies have been charging 400 bucks to dump a tree truck full of logs around here because they are over stocked from all the dead ash trees.it used to be free dumps or cheap.

    Lucky I rarely get poisun ivy.im lucky.i have even cut through poison ivy on logs while wearing shorts . Chips all over my legs and didn't get it.

    I'll burn the punky stuff too.dont want to keep it around fir next season. Right after breakfast I'll start cut split and put in the wood tent.ill be burning it by the end of spring
