You should go run that saw Brad. Seriously. Scott is well known to get massive gains from his work. First clue most times is the muffler mod. Pretty sure Scott makes his own secondary outlet port cover(deflector).

You could ask Scott yourself. If you're on FB, send a request to join his group: Treemonkey Performance Saws | Facebook

I did look him up on FB but dont like joining too many groups. I did ask the seller when he got the saw new. He says it was ported when new and shipped to him in the Fall 2017.

Lolol. Treemonkey is a Squealhead. I don't have any of those so I wouldn't know.

But here's a pic of his for sale ad. The standard by which deflectors are judged is from you guessed it, a Husky. That's a 288 one in the front for reference. :D

Not sure if he was making these in 2017 though.

Isn't that a lot of money for a 6 year old saw ? From someone you don't know?
Could still be run hard and not maintained ported or not.
Don't you already have a 261 ? If so maybe just have a appointment made for your own port job.

20230124_210031.jpg 20230124_210103.jpg 20230124_210509.jpg Here's my MS361 that Scott did for me in late 2016. The muffler looks very similar to the one you are looking at. Not sure if that's his writing on the top of the cylinder or if that came from the factory (?)
