I have a McCullough chain I have tired to give away for years on these things. Think it's for a medium size one. I will see if it's still worth a crap, and post it.

There doesn't seem to be many vintage saw guys here. I thought about starting couple brand specific threads if none exist. Remington, mcculloch. Maybe Homelite and pulan too eventually but not sure if they would get any traffic.

That would look odd lol. Big ole Bar for a lil saw. I have other 1/4 bars and chains I could try on it if I want to modify them to fit. Shorter units.

Thanks, no need but brings back great memories from those years, it was in my sales territory so I always stopped for a visit with him at work, and sometimes we hit lunch hour so got to eat together :)

Your probably right. When AS was going down the crapper and just before OPE site there was quite a few of those guys that frequented here. Had a vast supply of saw knowledge floating around at that time. They have mostly moved on.

I’ve picked up 2 older McCulloughs in the last 6 months. There’s a few parts I could use.

I only have Mini Mac parts. I might let some go if that's what you need.
