I pretty much listen to the engine and drive gear these days. A sports car might be a tad more entertaining. I do have an ipod still that can hold a couple hours of music but even with that I get tired of listening to the same old after a while. Forgetting to charge it and having to reload it gets lame after a while.
It was/is a smaller one. Older. Plus I ripped my own CD for decent quality to listen with headphones as well. ipod a1421 from 2012. Pretty sure it's just 16 gb. It still works, I just haven't charged it for a while. I think I had about 30 CDs on it. So, half a day ? You can fit a lot more with crappier file sizes but they sound like chit with good headphones.
My little 3-series will let me load a bunch of music onto the car. Like a built-in iPod/MP3 player. Good for when the weather doesn't allow for rolling the windows down I guess!
Man you traded the OBS Chevy and wood burning life for suburbs and BMWs! Huge lifestyle change! And to add to that a HUGE change of scenery, from upstate NY , to down here in Upstate SC!
Change of scenery, , it's closer than one might think, just a LOT more traffic. I have cows for neighbors still. Greenville traffic and congested parking lots necessitated something a lot more nimble than the Chevy. Right tool for the job! The Bimmer is older (2011) and needs slightly less wrench time than a Husky. Still have my 2013 Silverado, but it spends a LOT more time in the driveway. The OBS C3500 I gave to a local kid who loves it as much as I did. Just got new cab mounts and he's looking to do some more body work soon.
