Go get it! That's a good price for a 372 especially if it's clean. And If boxy backs out let me know on the bar

Well, looks like this is going to happen. Talked with the owner today and he'll go with the $500. Plan is to go and inspect tomorrow evening - can't go today. Luckily the saw is not on CL, so no major worry of getting scooped. If it happens, pics will follow! Cheers!

A nice, low-hour 372XP hit CL near me a few weeks ago, initially at a higher price. After a week or so it still hadn't sold, so he dropped it to $500 and it was gone within a few hours. I think you're safely in Good Deal territory.

Good deal - from what you've all posted, I feel comfortable with the price - if worse comes to worse and I need to sell the saw, at least I'll know that I can recoup the cash. Can't wait to run my first 70cc saw - been in 60cc land forever! Cheers!

I have a worn out ragged 372 that I built from 2 parts saws. Its only blowing 140ish psi and still runs like crazy. I need to tear it back down and put the Caber ring into it that I have for it.

20". Its ragged out too. The bar came free with one of the saws. Gotta see if I can pick up another off my loggers. They get new bars every few weeks. The 372 usually takes a back seat to the 84cc ms650... that thing is a light saber with a 20" bar!!:saw::dancer::dex:

140 isn't bad a new 372 blows between 135-145. They were never known for super high compression.

Good that makes me feel better.

I think it was really like 135 if I remember right...need to check again.

I bet it do sent really have many hours on it...just looks rough as it was a loggers saw and rode in the back of the truck rain/shine. Tossed in their...ran with dull chain etc. Our loggers here dont do that much with a saw in their hands anymore. Mostly buck saws on loaders doing bucking and cut down machines doing the cutting.

Cool. Good to know about the compression as well Kred - might have thought there was an issue if I was expecting higher psi. Cheers!

Cut4fun - that might work, but I'll go in order of the folks who expressed interest in the bar - should have the saw by 6pm tonight if all goes well! Cheers!
