    We went back to the church yesterday, we got the oak and cut the hickory stump off for them... 0119231251.jpg

    Looks good, I would love to get my hands on some hickory for the mill, but not something usually found around these parts.

    Cutting a big stump can be a PITA as you never know whats lurking in there...dirt, rocks etc. I remember when i first used my 460 to cut a big stump with a 28" bar and WOW, sure beats a 290 with a 16" bar.
    Great job getting it done Jeff. :thumbs:

    Nothing at all, but it wont cut off a lot of stumps. Never having used anything but a saw with a 16" bar, it was not easy to use a 28" bar the first several times. Took some getting used to. I felt like Paul Bunion when i did! :cool:.

    16 & 20" bars the norm when i go cutting with two saws. If im cutting bigger wood, a 25 or 28" bar on the bigger saw.

    Hey, don't be picking on the mighty MS180...:saw:...:whistle::whistle:... It wasn't hongry for hickory, stihl full on cherry, might give it :fart::fart: mixing those 2 woods...:eek::eek::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    The worst part was either all the exhaust I was smelling or the wind swirling the dust in my face...
