Good afternoon! 44F and cloudy with occasional showers. Temps drop tomorrow. Made some new signage for smoking wood to put up on the roadside stand. Music practice at church tonight. Have a God day!

    Good morning, members.

Mid-30's, overcast and raw. A few snowflakes in the air after heavy overnight rain. Showery day ahead, upper 30's.

I'm glad I topped off the deck rack yesterday.

    Indoor activity day.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

It had started with a rain/sleet mix. Not slippery underfoot. No issues getting him back home.

Both are doing well, thanks! :handshake:

Good morning! 32F and light snow. I snagged some plastic crates that veggies are shipped in this morning. They work great for kindling and small smoker splits. I have a nagging cough so not sure what I'll manage to do today. I definitely need to refill the roadside stand. I may go save big money at Menards and buy some lumber if I'm up to it. Have a God day!

Morning All. I thought we might have a frosting of snow this morning but it warmed up. Just wind and rain out there.
Last day of work for this week. Looking forward to seeing our daughter and her husband this weekend.

    Everyone have a great day.

I sympathise with you regarding the cough. Kinda feeling the same here. Kinda the norm when i catch a head cold for it to start a cough the lingers. Too much dust exposure will kick it in too.

Hows the finger healing? What percentage back to normal is it? How long has it been now?

    Feel better soon my friend.

I'm taking OTC meds and trusting the Good Lord will take care of it. Too much wooding to do to keep me down!

It's a bummer when you want to do things and you body just doesn't cooperate. Hang in there! The finger is doing really well. The nail is starting to regrow. As far as it's usefulness, I still have a ways to go but it doesn't keep me from doing too much. I just adjust my methods. It's been close to 3 months since the accident. Glad to put it behind me!

I've been splitting 2-3 days a week lately. Luckily I have some inventory already bucked. Grab your boots and a raincoat and get after that scrounge!

    LOL!!!:singingintherain:

Radar shows rain ending soon. I have an errand to run first. Maybe the saws will go with me.:tree:

I really dont like scrounging when its wet obviously. Especially BL with loose bark. That schmutz can be some messy stuff.

Good morning everyone. 34* and holding. Gonna have light snow all day. They say less than an 1" but I don't think we will get that much.
    Have a great day everybody.

Probably worth being prepared and checking it out. It would be a shame to miss out! I definitely understand about the messy stuff. I was splitting some partially frozen cottonwood last week. It had been cut for several months. Bark comes off in sheets and leaves a big mess underneath.

Ended up raining most of the day. I had saws to cut, but mother nature had other plans. I ended up going top storage site 2 and pulling some rounds and staged for splitting. Yard is a squishy mess. Hitting it tomorrow and hoping its still there. Its some nice stuff.
