Small red oak

    My sister said I needed to go clean up her timber. I started next to the road with this nice red oak.

    thats an Echo 590 w/20” bar sitting on the log

    it’s on a slope so I had to noodle them, easier than fighting gravity with the boom.

    I should have enough room, I have a 2 acre yard, or if push comes to shove, the wife’s 30 acre horse pasture can be used to stage wood in

    I’m guessing it’s about 30” DBH. It’s dwarfed by the cottonwoods down the hill that are 60”+DBH. Most of my wood is from my buddy that runs a tree service. Anything he has to get the winch truck out for is dropped at my house, so most of what I get is 36”+

    So I split that load up tonight and got it stacked
