    Nice morning on the lake. I saw this beauty that was in and out of the hole for about 15 minutes, at one point grabbing the decoy by the head and giving it a good shake.

    After watching her, I ended up taking a smaller one for a fish fry for my wife and I.

    Good morning. Had some fun fishing and skiing with our family yesterday, including our granddaughter. She is already quite the sportswoman, at age 3.

    January? It's been a strange winter.

    A few days in the 30's. Then a couple days in the 40's. No snow here. No ice on the ponds.

    It is what it is. I do know that it's been good for heating the house!
