Caffeine! We have a small mess out there this morning with more on the way. Daughter’s school closed and wife’s delayed two hours. Both are happy to stay in bed. I get to go to the workhouse and then drive 40 minutes to an eye doctors appointment at noon. :loco:  Have a good day hoarders.

The local cops didn't think so. This was from a couple years back, in between yooperdave and my place. I actually think he was headed to the UP from a place about 45 minutes north of me.

That's beautiful! What does something like that run to have materials and labor wise? It's similar to what I am dreaming about for this house.

I get to go pick up the skid steer and trailer. Going to hopefully start tearing into the pile and finish bucking it out and separating what can be used for Timbers for the mill next week.

I mean, it's strapped on...not sure about the strength of the straps.

The things aren't worth having in my area. We don't get enough snow. A lot of people are driving almost a days drive away just to use them.

Got a load of gravel spread in the barn. Still probably need 2 more. Should have the base done this week.

Labor will vary wildly by location. I went to Menards design tool and spec'd it out. The builder didn't buy from Menard's but prices were basically the same. In my case labor added about 50% to the cost, which I thought was very reasonable for the quality of work I got.

Then there are the add-ons for site prep, wiring, floor, overhead doors, loft space, etc that add up fast. I'm doing all that myself.

    It was expensive.

By the time I drive to Newfoundland it will most likely be more expensive.
