Todays mixed bag scrounge

I had a little time to scrounge today, I got some red oak, some sugar maple, and some ash. It was a nice day to be outside, a little damp and overcast but good for working.

 

Nice! And it was good to have a day without rain!

 

Resent ice and wind broke a lot of trees down in our area. Been cleaning up for the past couple of weeks. Mixed hardwood. Brought 6-7 loads home this size.

 

Nicking pickens there. Started out damp here, but the sun came out later and it got breezy. Actually started to feel like Winter again. Making any more trips there in the future Thom?

the website was acting up this morning so it was quite easy to post twice and not realize it.

Yes it sure was acting up and driving me crazy for a bit. Had to stop and restart laptop...didnt work. Tried to refresh and 15 seconds of hourglass! Double posted more than once.
For a few minutes thought it my old age messing with me. Not having enough coffee yet wasnt helping either!
