Little locust love

    My latest free drop from one of my tree guys. Logs are about 12-16 feet long and the big one is about 20” in diameter. Gotta love a little locust love!

    I used to exclusively burn locust, I had one section of woods that it would grow to about 10"-12" and die. The minimum "top" would slowly come off in little bits and a lot of the bark would also. I never put a meter to it but it was ready to burn right away.
    Now I have more land than I could ever have hoped for and I haven't come across one single locust tree but there's a nice grove 1/4 mile up the mountain
    (east coast mtn) so I know it'll grow here.
    Great score on that load!:thumbs:
    That saying about missing water and something about a well comes to mind.

    Moved the logs today and the tractor would only lift the big log a few inches off the ground. Definitely a hefty one!
